The Flintstones Barney Rubble and Pet Store Bird Production Cel and Master Painted Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1964). Calling all vintage Flintstones fans! This is a rare trimmed hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Barney Rubble, from the "Hop Happy" episode that ran on 9/17/64. Barney is in the pet store, to buy a pet for Bamm-Bamm. He encounters this bird, and says, "Get off my head, you're standing on it!" at the 5:12 mark into the episode. The cel is on a Master hand-painted production background that showcases his neighbor's house... Mr. Fred Flintstone. The cel and background are trimmed to 10.5" x 8.5", in a studio setup. A 1960s production background of Fred Flintstone's house is rare on its own merit, making for a very rare 1960s Flintstones Master setup! Nice image sizes of 4" and 6". Matted with an opening size of 10" x 8", and an overall mat size of 16" x 14". This episode introduced Hoppy, the Kangaroo. Fine condition, and very rare!
