The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show Opening March Pan Production Cel with Custom Painted Background (Warner Brothers, 1986). "Overture, curtains, lights! This is it, the night of nights! No more rehearsing, and nursing our parts. We know every part by heart!" Mark David and Jerry Livingston wrote "This is It (Bugs Bunny Overture)" for the original Bugs Bunny Show, which premiered in prime time on ABC on 10/11/60. This theme song was used when the show was transferred to Saturday mornings. The Looney Tunes march always emerged during the show's opening, after Bugs and Daffy sing the theme song. The show changed its title in 1986 to The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show, and the famous march sequence now has the characters in tuxedos. This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted pan production cel of this famous opening sequence. Outstanding images of Tweety, Sylvester Junior, Hoppity, Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Elmer Fudd, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, and Foghorn Leghorn -- that's nine characters! The cels are on a custom background made for presentation purposes. Matted, with an opening of 23" x 8"; overall mat size is 29" x 14". Very Good condition. "On with the show, this is it!"
