    Description

The Black Cauldron Painted Pan Background with Taran and Eilonwy Production Cel Setup (Walt Disney, 1985). Backgrounds on this film were painted by Donald Towns, Brian Sebern, Tia Kratter, John Emerson, Lisa Keene, Andrew Phillipson, Ron Dias, and James Coleman. These backgrounds are much sought after masterpieces of art. This is a stunning pre-production pan background of the forest, with a very James Coleman feel to it. Over this piece is a great hand-painted production cel setup of Taran and Eilonwy. Great full-figure images on this 2-cel setup, with sizes of 6" and 7". The cel includes a Disney seal. This is one large piece o' animation art! Production cels with backgrounds from this film are rare. Matted with an opening of 31" x 10", framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 42" x 21.5". Frame is sold as-is, artwork has minor handling. Very Good condition.
