The Black Cauldron Interior Scene Pan Production Background (Walt Disney, 1985). "Taran, the pot is boiling over!" This is an original hand-painted pan production background from the very beginning of the movie. In the scene, Taran gazes out the window as the pot is boiling over. It can be found at the 2:13 mark into the film. Art is in gouache on pan background board measuring 30" x 12.5". The painted area measures 26" x 11". The bottom border indicates Sequence .001/Scene 1.6. It has initials for OK'd by Joe Hale (JH) and James Coleman (JC). The initials BHS may indicate painted by background artist on this film Brian Sebern. A studio stamp is on the reverse. A stunning painting on its own right! Minor handling wear.
