    Description

The Black Cauldron Gurgi Concept Art by Tim Burton (Walt Disney, 1985). One of Tim Burton's first projects after being hired by Walt Disney Studios was to work on concept art and character designs for this animated feature film. This is an early study of Gurgi, with four original paintings from the hand of Mr. Tim Burton, on paper measuring 13.5" x 12". Art is in graphite and gouache on paper, with image sizes of 4" to 5". Rare to see a series of Black Cauldron paintings of the same character, on one sheet. What a great look into the artistic mind of Tim Burton! Minor handling wear, pinholes in corners. Very Good condition From the Joe Hale Archives.
