The Big Bad Wolf Red Riding Hood and Wolf Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1934). This Silly Symphony was the follow-up to Disney's popular adaptation of The Three Little Pigs. In it, the Three Pigs and Red Riding Hood join forces to defeat the Big Bad Wolf. In this group of two, the first drawing is of Fiddler and Fifer with Red as they first encounter the wolf around the 3:20 mark. All three characters are on the same 12 field 2-peghole sheet of animation paper, rendered in graphite, and numbered 111 in the lower right just to the right of animator's scene notes. Together they measure approximately 3" x 6". The second drawing is a full-figure image of the wolf measuring 5.5" x 5" tugging at the doors of Grandma's closet around 5:10 mark. He drawn in graphite with red, yellow, and green pencil on 12 field 2-peghole paper that is numbered 82 in the lower right. An array of handwritten color call-outs surround the image. This is a very rare pair of original drawings featuring some of Disney Studio's earliest break-out characters. Some tanning and edge wear; otherwise, Condition is Very Good.
