DescriptionThe Big Bad Wolf Red Riding Hood and the Wolf as Grandma Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934).
"What big eyes you have, Grandma!" Pair of original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings of Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf, in bed and disguised as Grandma, from the Silly Symphony short directed by Burt Gillett. This was the second of four cartoon shorts featuring the Three Little Pigs, and was released to theaters on 4/13/34. Red is drawn in graphite, standing about 5.25" tall, with the number 55 in the top right corner, and 49 in the bottom right. The Wolf is in graphite with one line in red pencil; the overall image area (including Grandma's bed) measures approximately 8" wide by 6" tall. The drawings are in Very Good condition, with minor edge tanning and wear, and a small amount of graphite smudging on Red Riding Hood.
