The Bears and Bees Natural Bridge Painted Background (Walt Disney, 1932). Rare original black and white hand-painted production background, from the Wilfred Jackson-directed Silly Symphony short that was released on 7/9/32. It can be seen at the 1:22 mark when the two bear cubs cross the stream on the fallen tree; this is before they encounter the angry older bear who chases them away from a berry bush. Art is in gouache on 12 field 2-peghole background board. The detail is amazing! Marked in lower border Tipper US #1 Scene 4. Production artwork from these early black and white Silly Symphony shorts is considered very rare. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
