    Description

The Autograph Hound Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). The Autograph hound is the very first cartoon where Donald is featured in his blue sailor hat. This is a huge production drawing of Donald from the short where he tries to enter a Hollywood studio to collect celebrity autographs, only to find that they want his. Many of the celebrity caricatures from this short also appeared in an earlier Disney short - Mother Goose Goes to Hollywood. Donald measures an impressive 5.5" x 4.25", rendered in graphite with red and green pencil on a 12-field, 5-peghole sheet of animation paper which is numbered 897 in the bottom right corner. The image also includes several inker notes in red pencil. The Paper shows minor handling and is torn at the peghole on the far right; otherwise Condition is Very Good
