    Description

The Art of Retta Scott Painting (1950). Like her friend Mary Blair, when Retta Scott left the Walt Disney studios, she continued to work as an artist. She did work for children's books as well as for greeting cards. Here is a prime example of her post-Disney artwork. This is an original gouache painting on board of a Christmas scene for a 1950s holiday card. The board is 10" x 11" with painted area of 6.5" x 8". Minor handling wear. In Fine condition. From the Retta Scott Archives.
