Description
The Amazon Awakens Painted Background (Walt Disney, 1944). This combination live-action/animated film was directed by Bill Roberts, for the US Coordinator of Inter-American Affairs Office. It was released as part of the Walt Disney Studio World War II Propaganda Film series on 5/29/44. This is a rare, and quite beautiful, 12 field 5-peghole production background, marked 2735. There are extensive studio stamps and notes on the reverse. The bottom border indicates this as for Sc. A26. The colors are stunning! Minor handling and edge wear. Some pinholes in corners.
