    Description

    The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad "Tree of Dead" Production Background (Walt Disney, 1949). "Once you cross that bridge my friend, the ghost is through. His power ends!" Original 16 field 5-peghole production background of the "tree of dead" from the scene where the Headless Horseman chases Ichabod Crane in the woods, right before the bridge. Backgrounds in this film were painted by Art Reilly, Ray Huffine, Brice Mack, Merle Cox, and Dick Anthony. The background is labeled in bottom border as 2062 Seq. 9 Scene 19.1. Matted with an opening size of 15" x 11", in an overall mat of 20" x 16". Minor handling and edge wear. Slight missing paper in bottom right corner, not on painted area under the mat. Very Good condition.
