    Description

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad Headless Horseman Concept Painting by Mary Blair (Walt Disney, 1949). Mary Blair was all about interpretation of color. Her talent is showcased here in this amazing original concept painting of the Headless Horseman. It's a great painting of him riding his horse (that looks a lot like Brom Bones' horse Gunpowder), with his red cape and sword out in a mad gallop. Equally impressive is the reflection of the Headless Horseman in the stream below. Amazing palette of color in this Mary Blair original. Gouache on board. Framed using Plexiglas and matted, with a mat opening of 14" x 7.5". Frame size 22" x 15". Fine condition.
