    Description

Tex Tex Avery Model Sheet Cel (Hanna-Barbera/MGM, 1974). Here's something truly special for fans of vintage animation. It's a "Tex" model sheet by Tex Avery, with himself as a cartoon character! This faux model sheet was one of a handful produced by the Hanna-Barbera Ink and Paint Department for a select few (including Bill Hanna, who requested one). This one is significant because in the bottom right corner it is hand-signed by Tex Avery (1908-1980). Tex's last job was working at Hanna-Barbera Studios; he had worked with Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera at MGM years before, after a stint at Warner Brothers. Very funny gags! The signature on this piece is priceless. Matted, with an opening of 13" x 10". Fine condition.
