Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo Production Cel Group of 4 with Animation Drawing (Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, c. 1987-96). Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exploded onto the scene in a big way in the late 1980s. Based on the independent comics by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, the animated series brought the unconventional hero team to mainstream audiences, and the franchise quickly saw enormous success. Here are four absolutely wonderful hand-painted original production cels from the series, featuring one each of everyone's favorite reptilian martial artists. Leonardo (in the blue mask) measures 5.25" x 3.75", Donatello (purple) is 3.75" x 7.75", Raphael (red) is 2.25" x 4" in a 2-cel setup, and Michelangelo (yellow-orange) measures 2.75" x 3.5". In addition, Raphael comes with his accompanying animation drawing, rendered in graphite with blue pencil on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Noted in the lower right corner of the paper is the notation R-10. The cels show minor handling wear, and Michelangelo's cel has a very small fold in the upper right corner. The drawing shows handling and edge wear with a dark mark toward the top edge, and it is in Very Good condition. The cels are taped to printed backgrounds for presentation purposes, and they are in Fine condition.
