Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo Production Cel Group of 4 (Murakami-Wolf-Swenson, c. 1987-96). No one could have expected the cultural impact of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in 1987. Based on the Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird indie comics of the same name, the animated series brought these convention-defying heroes to the mainstream. A spectacular collection for any fan of the teenage turtle team, this group of four hand-painted original production cels features one each of the fan-favorite characters. Leonardo (in the blue mask) measures 2.5" x 4.25", Donatello (purple) is 5.25" x 7", Raphael (red) is 4.5" x 5.5", and Michelangelo (yellow-orange) measures 5" x 5". Michelangelo's cel has a tiny fold in the lower left corner, and the cels overall show little handling wear. The cels are taped to printed backgrounds for presentation purposes, and the condition of all four pieces is Fine.
