Steamboat Willie Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1928). Historic pair of Ub Iwerks original 12 field 2-peghole animation drawings of a full-figure Mickey Mouse and Pete from the first widely released Mickey Mouse short, Steamboat Willie. Drawn by Ub Iwerks, (and directed by Walt Disney), this historic theatrical short premiered on November 18, 1928 at the Colony Theater in New York. This is the scene where Mickey is playing the teeth of the hippo. Most drawings in the marketplace are half figure. This is a rare full-figure Mickey, as well as a full-figure Pete, with nice images of 5" and 6.5". Blue stamp on back of each with 7 on the Pete Drawing and 53 on Mickey Mouse. Pete has a 7 in the bottom right corner and Mickey has a 55 in bottom right. Both drawn by Disney Legend Ub Iwerks. Fine condition.
