SpongeBob SquarePants SpongeBob and Patrick Star Production Cel Setup with Master Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). "Who's ready?" "I'm ready!" From the pilot episode of the long-running animated hit TV show SpongeBob SquarePants, we have never seen a better image of best friends SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star. "Help Wanted" (originally titled "Spongeboy Ahoy") is the episode that started it all, telling the story of Spongebob as he gets his job and the Krusty Krab. This is an amazing moment captured perfectly in this original hand-painted production cel setup, and it is presented on a stunning hand-painted Master background, rendered beautifully in gouache. The moment can be seen at the 2:49 mark of the episode. This is one of the best Master setups you can find of the two fan-favorite characters with an image measuring approximately 8.75" x 6" on the 12 field cels. They are in full figure and centered with expressive, in-character poses. The piece overall shows minor handling wear with slight creasing on some cel edges. An extremely rare moment, There is an official Viacom copyright stamp dated 2003, and the condition overall is Very Good.
