Description
SpongeBob SquarePants "Scaredy Pants" Pan Production Background (Nickelodeon, 1999). Offered here is a magnificent work of art from the very first SpongeBob SquarePants Halloween special. It Appears around the 1:58 mark in the season 1 episode "Scaredy Pants" as SpongeBob makes his way home from the Krusty Krab on Halloween night. The massive Bikini Bottom seascape featuring a Jack O' lantern and house in the distance is hand-painted in gouache on 43" x 10.5" background paper. Along with it is a matching hand-painted overlay cel of rocks and coral that measures 37" x 11". It's an enormous and historic one-of-a-kind piece of art from this incredibly popular series that could easily pair with almost any SpongeBob cel to form a Master setup. Both the background and cel show handling, use and have been rolled. Condition is Good.Auction Info
