    Description

Spider-Man Animation Drawings Sequence of 10 with Related Newspaper (Marvel/Krantz Animation, 1968-2003). Rare sequence of ten original animation drawings from the original Spider-Man animated series, showing the "corrected" eight-leg spider logo on Spider-Man's costume. The logo dates this to either second or third season of the series, which was directed by Ralph Bakshi. The images are drawn in graphite and blue pencil, with full-figure sizes ranging from 2.75 (for a partial figure) to 5". The drawings are numbered 1, 9, 17, 27, 35, 41, 47, 53, 59, and 64; each is signed by the series' original producer, Ray Patterson (1911 - 2001). A California newspaper supplement, The Ramona Sentinel Magazine dated April 2003 is included, with a cover feature on the animated Spider-Man and Mr. Patterson; it too is signed. Drawings are in Very Good overall condition, with minor handling and edge wear; drawing #1 is in Good condition with edge tears.
