DescriptionSpider-Man Animation Drawing Sequence of 11 (Marvel/Grantray-Lawrence Animation, 1967). The animated series with the memorable theme song ("Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead! Hey there -- there goes the Spider-Man") was the source for this rare action sequence of eleven original 12 field animation drawings. This is the original first-season version of Spider-Man, with a six-legged spider design on his costume. The art is in graphite and blue pencil, with our hero sneaking up, walking, running, and getting ready to use his webbing; numbers in the lower right corners are 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27, 29, and 31. Figure sizes are 2.5" to 3". Each sheet is hand-signed by Ray Patterson, producer of the first season. Very Good overall condition, with minor handling and edge wear.
