Space Ghost "The Web" Title Cel Setup (Hanna-Barbera, 1966). "It's time for SPACCCCEEE GHOSSSSSTTTT!" says the narrator and voice of Space Ghost, Gary Owen. This sci-fi superhero series was designed by Alex Toth. It premiered on 9/10/66 and initially had 42 episodes. Here is an extremely rare opening Title cel for "The Web" episode. In it, the Black Widow plans to kill Space Ghost with her insect monsters. This is the 12 field 3-level original Title cel: (1) "The Web" title; (2) "Hanna-Barbera Presents" wording, including copyright notice; and (3) the hand-painted image of Space Ghost. The setup is on a print background of the penciled Space Ghost logo, for presentation purposes. Great image of Space Ghost, measuring 7". Also in this lot are two photocopied lists of original titles for this show that showcase approvals by Joe Barbera and Bill Hanna from 1966. Minor handling wear. Fine condition.
