Society Dog Show Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). Much to Pluto's dismay, Mickey straps roller-skates on him for the talent portion of the Society Dog Show. This fabulous image of a mouse and his dog can be seen around the 06:22 minute mark in the Bill Roberts-directed short, the last one to feature Mickey without pupils. It's a beautifully detailed, one of a kind 12-field, 5-peghole production drawing measuring 5" x 7.5" in graphite with red highlights. Animator's timing sheet notations are written on the right side of the piece. 57 is written in the bottom right corner of the page. It shows minor handling and edge wear. Fine condition.
