Society Dog Show Mickey Mouse and Pluto Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). A bemused Pluto gets a much needed spiffing up by his pal Mickey as they prepare for the dog show, in this original animation drawing. This early color short was directed by Bill Roberts, and this image can be seen around the 1:49 mark. The overall image of the two in full-figure measures 7" x 7" and is rendered in graphite with red and green pencil on 12 field 5-peghole paper. The page is numbered 147 in the lower right corner and stamped 361 on the back. It's a wonderful image of a mouse and his dog. The piece shows tanning and light handling; otherwise, condition is Fine.
