Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Production/Color Model Cels and Key Master Pan Background (Walt Disney, 1937). "Heigh-Ho! Heigh-Ho! It's home from work we go!" This is an absolutely magnificent hand-inked, hand-painted trimmed-to-image collection of original cels of Doc, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, Bashful, Sneezy, and of course Dopey from the iconic scene where they head home from working in the diamond mine. They are presented over an oversized Key Master hand-painted pan production background. The camera follows this background as all seven dwarfs come into frame. It's arguably one of the single most memorable moments in the history of Disney animation. The cel image of Doc is a color model cel from a different scene in the film, but works flawlessly with this image. This truly unique piece of Disney history is in a glass-front frame measuring 27" x 18" with a mat opening of 19" x 11". A production cel overlay of vines is included on left border and the background itself is a serious piece of artwork in its own right. Snow White collectors know how rare it is to have a vintage cel featuring all seven dwarfs together! Put that over a Key Master matching background, and you have a piece of animation history beyond words. Easily one of the single most impressive pieces we have ever offered to date; this setup was originally part of the "Herbert Black Collection of Walt Disney Animation Art." Frame is sold as-is. Artwork condition is Very Good.

More Information: It was discovered after press time that the cel image of Doc is a color model from a different scene in the film.
