Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1937). "Don't worry, I'll be alright. See you tonight!" says Snow White to Doc as he warns her to be on the lookout for the Evil Queen. She reassures him she will be alright, and then proceeds to kiss each dwarf on the top of the head as they leave to work to the mine. Dopey comes up, gets blown away, and then grabs her dress and offers his lips, but she grabs his head, and kisses the top of his head. This is a very rare hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Snow White and Dopey from this scene. It is trimmed to the frame size of 7" x 9". This was a studio gift to Ben Carter, the head engineer for the air conditioning system that was being installed at the new Walt Disney Studios lot in Burbank, the new home of Mickey Mouse. Great full-figure images of 7" and 4". Snow White has some paint loss and cels may be stuck to backing. It is rare to find cels not trimmed to image. This is a scene in cels which has not come up before. A newspaper article on Ben Carter's year at the new Disney Studios is included in the lot. Frame is sold as-is. Cel condition is Good to Fair.
