Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney, 1937). "Gosh, it's wet!" exclaims Happy as the dwarf prepare for their first foray into washing up for supper. Everyone can recall this scene at the 42:52 mark in Disney's very first animated feature film. This is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel setup of Bashful, Happy, Doc, Sneezy and Sleepy standing around the water trough just prior to singing the "Buddle-Uddle-Um-Dum" song. The art is still in its original Courvoisier setup with trimmed cels over a wood veneer background and in a mat with a WDP stamp on the front and Walt Disney Enterprises stickers on back. It's an exceptionally large and detailed piece for Courvoisier Galleries and the images of the dwarfs with their reflections in the water is magnificent. The mat measures 16" x 13" with an opening of 11.5" x 8" and has framing measurements handwritten along the bottom. The art exhibits minor handling. Condition is Very Good.
