    Description

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Old Hag Concept Sketch (Walt Disney, 1937). Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was Disney's first feature film and it's still hard to top when it comes to great villains. The Evil Queen magically transformed herself into the Old Hag and both were wonderfully wicked. This is an original concept drawing of the Hag along with her pet raven, skull and book of potions. She almost looks sweet as she happily nuzzles her pet. The 8" x 8.5" image is masterfully rendered in graphite, ink, and pastel on a sheet of 12 field 5-peghole animation paper, It's a fantastic early rendition of this character originally developed by legendary Disney character designer Joe Grant. The paper shows handling, toning, edge wear, and there is a small ink smudge on the right border. Condition is Very Good.
