Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Doc Production Cel Courvoisier Setup (Walt Disney Publisher, 1937). "Ho hum the tune is dumb ...the words don't mean a thing ...Isn't this a silly song ...for anyone to sing!" This is an outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted Courvoisier production cel setup of Doc. It is from the in the cottage "Silly Song" sequence, when the dwarfs play their instruments and sing and dance with Snow White. Here is a little bit of this sequence's trivia; initially in the song, Doc is playing an upright bass. At around the 3:39 mark, he moves to mandolin and takes a solo. The piece is from his mandolin solo. This is one of the largest full-figure Doc cels we have ever seen, it measures a whopping 7". The cel is on a Courvoisier hand-painted/airbrushed background. The piece is in a 14" x 14" Plexiglas-front frame with small Courvoisier stickers are on the back of the frame. Frame sold as-is. Slight curling but overall Very Good condition.
