Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Doc, Dopey, Bashful, and Grumpy Model Sheet Original Art (Walt Disney, 1937). Snow White and Disney Animation fans, take note of this lot. This is a rare original hand-drawn Studio Animator's model sheet featuring Doc, Dopey, Bashful, and Grumpy. This is a "Chart of Relative Fields to the Dwarf's Eyes," which would be photographed and printed for distribution to all animators working on the film. It's the original to the published version, drawn in graphite and white gouache on 5-peghole 16 field animation paper. Written at the top is "Return to Dave," most likely meaning Dave Hand, the film's director. There are detailed notes on the eyes under each Dwarf image, with thirteen Dwarf images in all. The sizes range from 2" to 4". An unbelievable find! It truly showcases "The Art of Walt Disney" through this meticulous attention to detail. Fine condition.
