Sleeping Beauty Prince Phillip and Sampson Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1959). "You hear that Sampson? Beautiful." Prince Phillip and Sampson overhear Briar Rose as she sings in the forest. Sleeping Beauty was the last fairytale Disney produced until The Little Mermaid 30 years later. Offered here is an original hand-inked hand-painted production cel of the Prince on horseback who together measure 4,5" x 4.5" in a 16 field 3-peghole cel. It's a nicely centered full-figure image that can be seen at the 24:17 mark. This was the most expensive film that Disney Studio had produced up until that time and the hand-inking in the cels is absolutely exquisite. Light handling and condition is Very Good.
