DescriptionSleeping Beauty Maleficent Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1959). The evil fairy Maleficent follows the captive Prince Phillip out of the Woodcutter's cottage in this animation cel from the 57:59 mark of Sleeping Beauty. It's a magnificent hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Maleficent in full figurer and holding a candle from the pivotal seen of Prince Phillip's capture. She measures an impressive 6" x 8" nicely centered on a pan cel that has been trimmed to approximately 16" x 12". Large full-figure images of this popular Disney villain are always in demand by collectors and production cels from this Disney feature exhibit the finest examples in the lost art of hand-inking. There is tape residue along the borders of the cel and creases in both the top and bottom right corners nowhere near the art. Condition is Very Good.
