    Sleeping Beauty (La Belle au bois dormant) Étude préliminaire du Dragon peinte par Eyvind Earle (Walt Disney, 1959). La méchante fée Maléfique se transforme en dragon crachant le feu pour l'une des batailles les plus épiques de toute l'histoire des longs métrages Disney. Le terme « épique » pourrait aussi qualifier cette incroyable étude préliminaire peinte par Eyvind Earle (1916-2000), artiste récompensé du trophée Disney Legends. Elle est peinte à la gouache sur un carton de 16,5 x 39 cm. La palette de couleurs inquiétantes établit parfaitement l'atmosphère de la scène. Earle a signé son œuvre à la main en bas à droite. Quelques traces de manipulation et d'usure sur les bords. Assez bon état.
    Sleeping Beauty Dragon Concept/Color Key Painting by Eyvind Earle Original Art (Walt Disney, 1959). The evil fairy Maleficent turns herself in a fire-breathing dragon, for one of the most epic good-vs-evil scenes in Walt Disney Animation history. "Epic" could also describe this incredible Color Key/concept painting by Disney Legend Mr. Eyvind Earle (1916-2000). It's painted in gouache on board measuring 15.25" x 6.5". The eerie color palette sets the perfect mood for this scene. Mr. Earle has hand-signed the artwork in the bottom right corner. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
