    Description

Sleeping Beauty Cottage Interior Pan Preliminary Background (Walt Disney, 1959). Outstanding preliminary production pan background of the interior of the cottage. This is for the ill-fated cake baking scene before they resorted to magic to make the cake. This stunning background showcases not only the mess of cake making but the fabric roll and threads that will be used to make the dress for Briar Rose's sixteenth birthday. The detail is amazing. The background is attributed to Eyvind Earle. His signature style can be seen in the tree inside the cottage. Slight unpainted area in the entrance door. This unpainted tiny section showcases the detail that went into each and every background painting in this film. Framed with Plexiglas and matted with an opening of 20" x 11". There is a scratch on the Plexiglas; otherwise in Fine condition.
