    Description

Sleeping Beauty Briar Rose Production Cel and Master Background (Walt Disney, 1959). The three fairies take Princess Aurora to the forest to hide from Maleficent. This is an outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Briar Rose with her shawl and flower basket. The cel is placed on a MASTER Production/Pre-Production amazing background of the interior of the cottage. The background looks to be from the hand of Eyvind Earle by the detail on the tree interiors but may have been one of the other background painters on this film. The detail to the background is quite breathtaking. Framed with Plexiglas and matted with a mat opening of 24" x 11". Briar Rose is 7". Spectacular setup! Fine condition.
