Shanghaied Mickey Mouse Vintage Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1934).
Mickey and Minnie have been kidnapped by Pete and his pirate crew in Shanghaied. It's up to Mickey to rescue himself and Minnie from Pete and his crew. Mickey escapes and gets a swordfish off the wall; a swordfight with Pete ensues. Mickey gets out of the cabin and on deck; he hoists Minnie up onto the mast. Pete summons his crew, and Mickey fights them off with a cannon, shooting pots and pans, a stove, and ultimately a harpoon before winning the ship back. This is a magnificent drawing of Mickey with the swordfish. The image measures 4.25" x 3.25" and was hand-drawn in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. The piece is noted as 50 with only slight toning due to age. Condition is Very Good.
