Star Wars: Droids - The Adventures of R2-D2 and C-3PO Limited Edition Sericels Group of 2 (Lucasfilm/ Walt Disney/ 20th Century Fox, 1985). Star Wars: Droids ran for one season of 13 half-hour episodes; an hour-long special broadcast in 1986 serves as the finale. The opening theme, "Trouble Again", was performed by Stewart Copeland of the Police. During their adventures, the Droids find themselves in the service of successive new masters, and encounter minor characters from the original trilogy such as Boba Fett and IG-88. In this lot are two identical sericels from the series protagonists, R2D2 and C3PO. The images measure 6.5" and 3" tall. These are screen-printed pieces paired with background copies for presentation purposes. The sericels have Lucasfilm Ltd. Printed on each piece. Housed in mats of 18" x 16" with openings of 12" x 10". Very Good condition. NOTE: Both pieces in this lot are identical. From the Lee Reem Collection.
