Sea Scouts Huey Dewey and Louie Production Cel and Custom Painted Background (Walt Disney, 1939). "Heave Ho... Heave Ho... Heave Ho..." say the nephews until Uncle Donald says, "Lower the boom." A crash ensues, then Donald says, "Sometimes they take me too literal" as the mast comes crashing down on him! This short was directed by Dick Lundy from a story written by Carl Barks. It was released on 6/30/39. This is a rare full 12 field nitrate 5-peghole cel. It has all three nephews hoisting the mast -- Huey, Dewey, and Louie -- with great full-figure images measuring 3". You can see this image around the 3:30 mark when they let go of the rope. This rare untrimmed production cel is on a hand-painted custom background, made for presentation purposes. All three nephews on a full cel from this era is very rare. Condition is Very Good.
