This is an exceedingly rare 8.5'' x 11'' first-generation script from The Simpsons, Season 4 episode "Marge vs. the Monorail," signed by the legendary Leonard Nimoy. This early draft represents the initial complete version of the episode, produced prior to revisions or production changes, and provides a fascinating glimpse into the creation of one of the series' most beloved episodes. In this classic storyline, Springfield receives a $3 million settlement from Mr. Burns and must decide how to spend it. While Marge advocates for practical repairs, a charismatic conman, Lyle Lanley, persuades the town to invest in a poorly constructed monorail. As the situation spirals out of control, Marge and Lisa work to expose the scheme before disaster strikes. Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015), best known for his iconic role as Spock in Star Trek, brings his distinctive presence to the episode, voicing himself in a memorable cameo that adds to its enduring appeal. Created by Matt Groening, The Simpsons debuted in 1989 and remains a cornerstone of television history.
