Here is a rare first-generation script from The Simpsons, Season 3 episode "Homer Defined," signed by basketball legend Magic Johnson. This 8.5'' x 11'' early draft represents the initial complete version of the episode, produced prior to revisions and production changes, offering a unique glimpse into the creative process behind one of the series' early fan-favorite episodes. In "Homer Defined," Homer becomes an unlikely hero after averting a nuclear disaster through sheer luck, only to struggle with maintaining his newfound reputation. The episode humorously explores fame, responsibility, and Homer's tendency to rely on instinct rather than skill. Magic Johnson is referenced within the episode, highlighting his widespread cultural prominence at the time and marking his connection to the series during its early years.
