    Description

Scooby-Doo "San Francisco" Pan Production Background (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1970s). Scooby-Doo has appeared in San Francisco on several episodes. His first appearance was in Season One in an episode called "I Left My Neck in San Francisco." Other SF-based episodes were "San Franpsycho," "Chinese Food Factory," and "Surprised Spies." This is a master pan hand-painted master pan production background of the city at night, showcasing Fisherman's Wharf. To the right is a storefront marked "San Francisco Wax Museum" with the Wolfman, Frankenstein, and Dracula on display. This night scene is one of the most impressive and detailed Hanna-Barbera/Scooby-Doo backgrounds we've ever seen, measuring a mind-boggling 62" x 10.5". It's matted and framed with glass, for an overall size of 65.5" x 16.5". Fine condition.
