Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo Production Cels and Animation Drawings Large Group (Hanna-Barbera, 1979). Scooby-Doo had been one of Hanna-Barbera's biggest stars in the early 1970s, but by 1979, the formula was wearing thin, and ratings were beginning to slip. To generate new interest in the show, Scooby's nephew Scrappy-Doo was introduced in this new series, and the results were positive. Here's an instant collection of original hand-painted production cels and matching animation drawings made for this show. Most are head shots of Shaggy with full-figure images of diminutive Scrappy-Doo, but there is one nice 3-cel 12 field setup of Shaggy, Scooby, and Scrappy heading for the beach. This is an entire file folder, filled with cels and drawings -- too many to count! Overall condition is Very Good, with minor handling wear.
