Description

Schoolhouse Rock "Conjunction Junction" Production Cels Group of 6 (ABC/McCaffrey and McCall, 1973). Conjunction junction... what's your function?" Jazz singer and television personality (The Merv Griffin Show) Jack Sheldon helped bring this phrase to fame. This is one of the most popular episodes of Schoolhouse Rock, the series of short educational cartoons inserted between shows on Saturday Morning programing. It premiered on ABC on 1/6/73 and initially ran through 1986. This show with animated music segments covered grammar, science, economics, history, math, and civics. This is a lot of six extremely rare hand-painted production cels from the classic "Conjunction Junction" episode. Four are of the two train hobos that leap out of a boxcar around the 1:12 mark, and the others are of station conductor and the girl tied to the tracks, that we see around 1:22. Six hand-painted 12 field production cels in this lot. Nice images and colors! Fine condition.
