School Days in Disneyville Mickey Mouse Original Book Cel Art (Walt Disney, 1939). D.C. Heath and Company began publishing Disney children's books in the 1930s and the first four books released were Donald Duck and His Friends, Little Pig's Picnic, School Days in Disneyville, and Mickey Never Fails. Illustrated by "The Walt Disney Studio" appears on each book's title page. Hand-inked, hand-painted cels created at the world-famous Disney Ink and Paint Department were used for the illustrations, giving them more vibrant colors than traditional illustration methods. This is a rare cel of Mickey with his ladder used to make page 39 of a D.C. Heath book. Originally offered at the Disneyana Convention in 2001. The artwork is housed in a frame of 17.5" x 15". Frame sold as-is. The cel exhibits mild warping with some mild smudges. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Overall condition is Very Good.
