Robin Hood Prince John Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1973). The crooked and corrupt Prince John, notorious villain of the 1973 classic Robin Hood, is featured here in this fantastic hand-painted original production cel. The greedy character was voiced by Sir Peter Alexander Ustinov (1921-2004) who ironically also served as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and president of the World Federalist Movement. This wonderful piece depicts Prince John at a large 7.25" tall on a 16 field 3-peghole cel. The cel shows minor handling and edge wear, and it is numbered 111 in the lower right corner. There is slight paint separation in the robe and shirt, and the condition overall is Very Good.
