    Description

Robin Hood Hand-Painted Production Cels (Walt Disney, 1973).
The story of Robin Hood and Little John, two outlaws living in Sherwood Forest, where they rob from the rich and give to the poor was Disneys 21st animated feature film. From Robin Hood we have two production cels. Both cels are on 16 field acetate and were laminated by the Walt Disney Studios. Each cel is stamped with A Walt Disney Studios Original. The first piece shows Robin Hood disguised as a jail guard. The image is a generous 7.5" tall! The second cel features Captain Crocodile who would organize the archery tournament under Prince John's orders. Each piece is in a mat measuring 20" x 16". Mats are sold as-is. Included in this lot are the certificates of authenticity issued by Walt Disney Productions and are affixed to the backs of the mat. Both pieces have lamination failure. Other than the lamination failure; both pieces are in Fair to Good condition.
