Robin Hood Hand-Painted Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1973).
The story of Robin Hood and Little John, two outlaws living in Sherwood Forest, where they rob from the rich and give to the poor was Disneys 21st animated feature film. From Robin Hood we have a hand-painted production cel of Maid Marian and Skippy. Maid Marian was voiced by Monica Evans, best known for her portrayal of Cecily Pigeon in Neil Simons The Odd Couple. The cel is on 16 field acetate and was laminated by the Walt Disney Studios. The piece is stamped A Walt Disney Studios Original. The image is a generous 7" X 10". The cel is in a mat measuring 21" x 18". Mat is sold as-is. Included with the artwork is the certificate of authenticity issued by Walt Disney Productions. The piece has lamination failure and a staple in the upper left under the mat. Other than the lamination failure and staple; the artwork is in Fair to Good condition.
