    Description

Road Runner and the Wile E. Coyote Production Drawings by Chuck Jones Group of 2 (Warner Brothers, 1970/76). The 1970s PBS children's TV show The Electric Company featured some short animated segments of Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner, directed by their creator, Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). Here is a pair of outstanding production animation drawings from two of those episodes. The first is a very tight animation drawing of the Road Runner holding a sign reading, "I'm Sorry." He is in full figure and measures 5.5" tall and drawn in graphite on 12 field animation paper which bears a Linda Jones foil seal in the lower right corner and a Chuck Jones signature with copyright dated 1970 in the lower left. It is framed with a mat opening measuring 9.25" x 11", in a 17.25" x 19.5" frame. Second is a hilarious, very detailed drawing of Wile E. covered in mousetraps. It's a large image in full figure, profile and measures approximately 7" tall. It's drawn in graphite on 12 field animation paper with director notes along the bottom, a Linda Jones foil seal in the lower left corner and a Chuck Jones signature with copyright dated 1976 in the lower right. The piece is framed with a mat opening of 9.5" x 11", in a frame measuring 20.5" x 23". Both pieces come with a signed Linda Jones Certificate of Authenticity and condition is Fine.
