Red Hot Riding Hood Red Hot Production Drawing (MGM, 1943). "Oh, Daddy!" This was Tex Avery's tour de force, a classic take on the Big Bad Wolf vs. Little Red Riding Hood tale moved to a modern day, big-city nightclub setting. The cartoon was listed as #7 in Jerry Beck's Fifty Greatest Cartoons of All Time. This wonderful 12 field, 3-peghole animation drawing of Red Hot is as good as it gets. Rendered in graphite with red and green highlights, with "#59" written in the lower right corner, the drawing is also signed by the late Preston Blair, who animated this scene.
