    Description

Recruiting Days Punchy Production Cel Signed by Walter Lantz on Master Background (Walter Lantz Studios, 1940). This is an original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of the character Punchy from a Walter Lantz Studio wartime short. He is loading TNT and ammo into the world's largest cannon. Punchy with ammo measures 8" tall on a 12 field cel which is inscribed "This is one of my original paintings from one of my animated Cartunes, Walter Lantz-Creator of Andy Panda." This cel is on a stunning and enormous hand-painted panoramic Master background that measures 10" x 40" and is stamped Walter Lantz. Truly one of the most impressive vintage Walter Lantz Studios Master setups we have ever seen. The piece shows minor handling; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
